Christmas in Beilun

Since returning from Hong Kong, I (and Jett) have been staying over at the Buckmaster-Ross household. Matt and Julie have now two-month old twin boys, and the midnight feedings and hangings can be exhausting for two people to do around the clock by themselves, to say the least. So I offered the "gift" of my time and services with baby and household stuff while in town (Beilun, Ningbo, China) for some of these days over our winter break, thus enabling the two of them to actually get some sleep at night. (Matt teaches high school English and Jule teaches high school science at AIAN. )

Anyway, changing and feeding burping and rocking and soothing and playing with and taking pictures of Huginn (pronounced Hue-ghin) and Munnin (pronounced Mue-nin) has been great these last several days. Little sleep (well, a few hours here and a few hours there), but letting Matt and Julie sleep was really rewarding while I cuddled with babies and helped around the house with laundry and dishes and cooking. It was lovely to have a feel of family during these Christmas days. Here are some images of the past few days that I wanted to share...
