I am on the ELL staff (English Language Learning, a.k.a.: ESL (English as a Second Language), TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages), etc.) at the Access International Academy Ningbo (AIAN), which is an international school in the Beilun district of Ningbo, Zhejiang, China.
(Check out the maps and links I have provided in the side tabs in the menus to the right, and you can see where exactly I'm at in the ginormous country of China... look in the southeastern part along the coast, south of Shanghai, and in the bay just south of Korea.)
I am teaching English to a diversity of ELLs (English Language Learners). These students are native speakers of various languages from all over the world--predominantly Asian, in the setting of my ELL classroom (Korean, Chinese, Japanese). However, other languages are also represented in the AIAN student body, which is comprised of approximately 170 students, K-12.
